We're working with the palliative care team with Ashland Hospice, and they referred us to a very kind hospice nurse who is collecting portraits of patients and their loved ones holding hands. She also blesses the families with other family photos as well. The girls almost cooperated!

You are a beautiful mom and are doing such a great job of loving your girls during this time. You and Joel are serving and loving and caring for your sweet Oliver with such a Christ-like love.
ReplyDeleteMy breath caught in my throat at that picture of you and Oliver together. It would be beautiful no matter what, but knowing the path you're walking right now charges it with emotion.
